This Packaging Box Mockup shows two square rigid boxes stacked at a slight angle in a neutral studio setting, with soft directional shadows falling across a light grey backdrop. The upper box sits open with its magnetic lid lifted back to reveal the interior walls and base, while the lower box rests closed beneath it. Lighting comes from above and to the left, giving both forms a soft, even look. It works well for cosmetics, candles, gift sets, subscription boxes, and other retail packaging presentations, and doubles as a solid Gift Box Mockup for label and lid design.

Smart object layers let you drop your own artwork onto the outer box panels, and the lid surface has its own placeholder for a logo or label design. The closed lower box can carry different artwork from the open upper box, since each is set up independently. Shadow and highlight layers are separated so you can match the mood of your own scene, and the background color can be changed or swapped out entirely.
